Halfway between Taupo and Wellington, The International Airport is an Adventure Centre which provides a one-stop shop for your river - or hunger - essentials!

The Adventure Centre is located on State Highway One Mangaweka, just underneath the famous DC3 Aeroplane Cafe.
On board at the Adventure Centre:
- Information & Booking for activities and accommodation
- Post Office and Postal Services
- General Store for you campers needing supplies
- A cafe with yummy Toasted Sandwiches, Burgers, & awesome espresso coffees.

As for the paddling crowd...it is an ideal meeting point- to use the facilities, convienent shuttles are available, kayaking/river gear are hired & sold. Plus, kayaking Outdoor Education are run from the centre. Check out the schedule for next season if you want to learn to kayak!

Most importantly, The Adventure Centre is the the base for Mangaweka Adventure Co, an old established adventure company in the Rangitikei Region.
